About Martin Litwak:

Martin Litwak is an award-winning investment funds and private client lawyer with two decades of experience in the international markets. His experience includes representing investment funds, financial institutions, trust companies, family offices and HNW families and individuals based throughout Latin America. Mr. Litwak has also been very active in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, structured and project finance transactions, exchange of tax information and tax amnesties. Prior to founding Litwak & Partners, he practiced law in Argentina, the British Virgin Islands and Uruguay. Mr. Litwak has authored and co-authored several legal articles published in Latin America, the United Kingdom and the United States and is a frequent speaker at regional and international conferences and seminars, as well as a frequent international media collaborator. Mr. Litwak was also recognized by prestigious publications such as Who’s Who Lawyers, Chambers & Partners, Euromoney and IFLR1000. Mr. Litwak is an active member of the American Bar Association (International Section) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (as chair of the South America branch). He is also the head of the “Team BVI LatAm”, a board of advisors to BVI Finance and serves as the Latin American Regional Director for the Hedge Fund Association. Mr. Litwak obtained his law degree cum laude from the University of Buenos Aires, a Master’s degree in Finance from UCEMA (Argentina) and was admitted as a lawyer both in England and Wales and the British Virgin Islands
