Role of a Member
Every member, whether they are also a broker or not, shall put great effort in promoting the use, development and growth of the Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange N.V. (DCSX)
Apart from supporting an organization which will enhance the profile of the Curacao, and thereby attract further high quality business to the jurisdiction, the DCSX will enable local member and other firms to increase revenue and broaden the range of corporate services which they are able to provide to their existing and potential clients.
The DCSX assists local financial services providers in expanding their corporate services, create business opportunities for the Exchange's Members and to enhance the competitiveness of Curacao as a jurisdiction.
Members can utilize the Exchange's services to offer a range of corporate services to their existing clients beyond that which is currently provided (i.e. fund administration or custody, legal or accounting services) by providing a listing service. The extension of corporate services to that of listing services provides a useful source of possible additional income.
Members can only be private persons or legal entities, who either as a Broker, trader or otherwise, are actively engaged at the Exchange, and who have been admitted as shareholder B by the Foundation. In general Members can be local and/or international) banks, pension funds, insurance brokers and/or companies, fund managers, fund administrators, legal firms, trust companies and stockbrokers.
